At present, more than 150 types of manganese minerals and manganese containing minerals have been discovered, with more than 20 commonly found, mainly including soft manganese ore, hard manganese ore, water manganese ore, black manganese ore, rhodochrosite, etc; The commonly used manganese ore beneficiation methods include washing, gravity separation, strong magnetic separation, flotation, pyrometallurgical enrichment, and hydrometallurgy.
At present, the re selection method is only suitable for selecting manganese ore with simple structure and coarse embedded particle size, especially for dense oxidized manganese ore. The commonly used gravity separation methods include heavy medium beneficiation, jigging beneficiation, and shaking bed beneficiation.
The process flow for processing manganese oxide ore generally involves crushing the ore to 6-0mm or 10-0mm, followed by classification. Coarse particles are sent to the jigging separation, while fine particles are sent to the shaking table for separation.
Although the crystallization strength of manganese minerals is generally relatively fine and closely coexists with fine gangue minerals, it is difficult to separate individual minerals using mechanical beneficiation methods. However, manganese minerals are aggregated into aggregates and produced at coarser particle sizes. At the same time, due to the significant density difference between manganese minerals and gangue minerals; Re selection is suitable for selecting manganese ore with simple structure and coarse embedded particle size, especially for dense oxidized manganese ore.
